Who is James P.
White?
James was born in Wichita Falls, Texas. He lived in
Arlington before attending the University of Texas at Austin, Vanderbilt
University and Brown University. He has taught Creative Writing at the
University of Southern California, the University of Southern Alabama, UCLA,
the University of Texas at Dallas and Permian Basin. James was the founding president of the Gulf Coast Association of
Creative Writing, the Texas Association of Creative Teachers, and was one of
the founders of the American Literary Translators Association. His
latest novel is I Am Everyone I Meet: Random Encounters on the Streets of Los Angeles.
