Blowing in the Wind

I go out to no particular place to meet and to talk to anyone. I find this exciting not because of whom I might meet or what I might learn. Doing it is as undirected as something’s blowing in the wind. I do it because surely this is our natural state. Having a career and a status or a nationality or a particular religion is not our real situation. We make up who we are and then dismiss the world outside because of our fantasies. If you want to know more of who you are, meet people who don’t know who you think you are.
